‘The Ox’

The overall color appearness is Dark Gray. 

The Ox is depiected in a sitting position looking up, the legs are folded to the side of the body beside the front leg which suggest the Ox is about to stand up. This position is very common to Gaurdian animals. The ox is carved without any 'donut' holes. 

This piece was carved in China in the mid 1960's, and was immediatly imported to the USA by the original collector.
